I Wanted to Make a Cat: and other short stories of triumph and possibility.

I care a lot about making things.

(emphatic pause)

I care a lot about making things.

Cannot wait for you to meet

Vershrankung Rose

She is currently traveling to Brooklyn to rehearse with the rest of the cast.

Remember when she was just cardboard?

Sometimes I am at home working on a project like this. and someone says,

"Hey, what are you up to?"

and I think about lying.

but don't.

"making a cat head."

 What's up Friday night?

unless you are a good friend of mine. who hears this and, unphased, answers with,

"ok. can you get dinner later?"

or a friend. who doesn't have to ask.

because I have already texted you a creepy picture like this

because I can only look at this so long...

without flinching.

They sell legit clay tools.

But chopsticks are free with sushi orders. so.

Ahahha. I know.

My roommate texted me this picture. that she took private eye style.

Have you seen that MTV True Life episode-

True Life: I Make Puppets

fur. gets. everywhere.

Neither have I.

I was building legos with a 6 yr old tonight. and he said,

"sometimes I just make what's in my brain."

I said,

"me too."

Listening to your play list as I cook dinner at 9:30AM. Thank you for giving me this art.

That last photo is the best because kitty looks very, very, super legit. Like it's not kind of weird that you have a puppet in your lap because it's an actual real cartoon cat that came to life to be your pet.
